Text Based Tutorial - Combining Patches
By Mysticsentry     As posted on forums.

Small Details
I wrote this tutorial on the Furcadia Forums orginally and have added it here for future use and for those who have trouble viewing images.
I wrote this as if i was the person actually doing the combining. I'm explaining here each step I would be taking.

------

I would first then copy the orginal player.fsh file to my dream's patch folder and then open the copied player.fsh; wolf.fsh and tiger.fsh patch respectively.

I'd probably start with the feline; as this comes first in player.fsh;
Going to shape 41 - I see the first shape of the feline avatars.
Press Ctrl+A to select the whole image (Or press the dotted-lines button and highlighting the whole avatar).

I would then press delete to remove the image. I would switch to the feline.fsh and find the first tiger image that sits -> The 'Sit' Position that faces to the southwest.

I would again press Ctrl+A or Highlight the whole avatar; But this time i would want to Copy the image. Either by pressing Ctrl+C or Edit -> Copy. Switching back to player.fsh i'd see a blank image. So now i want to place the tiger image here - either by pressing Ctrl+V or Edit -> Paste.

The Sitting Southeast position for the Tiger will now be on the Player.fsh file. Yet we are not done yet. There's still other things to be done.
Go back to the Tiger.fsh file and press Enter or View -> Shape Properties

A new window will open up with some position settings.
Do the same thing in the player.fsh file to bring up this same window.
Copy the Basic Properties Position X and Position Y numbers from feline.fsh into the player.fsh settings. This will basically create an identical copy of these settings and image.

Repeat this as many times as neccessary to combine your two patches into a single patch.

Note: If dealing with items; the process is virtually the same. Only in items and floors you may also need to copy the settings from FBJ Properties from one file to another.
